About the founderS
Priya Saxena, Founder
Priya is a junior at Edgemont High School. She saw a ton of non-renewable products being used within her school and nearby restaurants-----and she couldn't understand why places can't reform certain products that are being used. After analyzing materials and products, she chose to drive an initiative for sustainability on a broad spectrum.
Nandini Saxena, Advisor
Nandini is a graduate from Stony Brook University, she studied applied math and international relations in a special concentration. Ever since she saw the vast amount of plastic being used on campus, it profoundly impacted her that college campuses contribute to so much waste. Nandini is an active member in WCAPS and YPFP. She advises on climate initiatives, campaign policies, and works on partnership building.
